A light skinned man, fairly thin, with deep emerald eyes as exhausted as they are calculating. The brown curls of his hair seem slightly unkempt. His hands seem calloused from his work with various materials and substances: after all, dexterous as he may be, it is unavoidable.

TRAINING & SKILLS
┖━━━━━✦━━━━━┚
⫸ Engineering/Tinkering - Ever the inventor, Lupin will likely draw up a blueprint to provide a solution to most problems. His hands are calloused, and his eye-bags weigh kilograms. But his work is worth it.
⫸ Alchemy - No 'genius' worth his salt would overlook the importance of studying the world and its reactions. A compass is worthless without its magnetism. Coffee must energize you for a reason.
⫸ Rapid Analysis – Lupin has an almost reflexive habit of calculating, estimating, and dissecting—useful in a crisis when quick thinking is necessary, or in his line of work. Mostly annoying in conversation.

COMBAT
┖━━━━━✦━━━━━┚
Peaceful
"It is not about moral qualms-- though a principle of non-aggression sounds logical to all-- but practicality. I am clearly not a fighter."
Exercise | Training |
"I am far too busy for such a thing." | "Obviously not." |

ETHICS & MOTIVATIONS
┖━━━━━✦━━━━━┚
Personality
Lupin is sharp-minded, wry, and somewhat guarded: perfectly polite but never quite opening up. He is perfectly willing to sacrifice health and well-being in favour of experiments and work, with the excuse-- though the term only applies if you choose not to believe the following-- that every risk to himself is perfectly calculated.
"I would obviously never do something that I sincerely think would genuinely harm me. This only inconveniences me, so it's fine."
Despite a seeming detachment from genuine relationships and a perceived lack of social awareness; Lupin is highly introspective, and quietly principled (though he'd deny both things), a product of his deeply curious and analytical nature.
"I understand that I am better at some things than others. It is why I do not fight. It is also why I don't bother myself with attempting to make relationships. I know better than to end up neglecting others due to work, or somehow accidentally offending someone because I was lost in thought when they were telling me about... I don't know. Look, if I knew what it was, they probably wouldn't have been offended, would they?"
Religious Values
"Define religion."
Silence passes.
"Obviously, 'gods' and their 'blessings' exist. To claim otherwise is to deny an observable reality. Whether these beings fit the agreed upon definition of 'god' is an entirely different matter, purely in the realm of metaphysics that are inherently unknowable lest we simply trust the word of spoken tradition and belief. The only truly knowable thing is the following: there are extremely powerful beings with powers beyond our current comprehension of the world, and they influence it in mysterious and arcane ways."
You remind him that he didn't answer your question.
"Right," he rolls his eyes, "I've spent a lot of time in spaces associated to the Dragon. I am not a worshipper, but the supposed domains are, generally, self-evidently useful. Call it a set of values if you must."
Alignment
"Morality is a... function, really. If I help people, if I do things that make the world marginally better, then I increase the chances that others might feel compelled to do the same. I expect myself and others to act in accordance to this, because it is the logical thing to do. It is entirely self-interested. Greedy, if you must moralise it. But it is, I find, a set of values that ensures mutual benefit. I want to make the world a better place for others to prove to others that the world is a place worth improving. If I don't, then I can not expect anyone to improve the world for me."
You're not really sure where to put this in your chart. Chaotic Good? Neutral Good? Lawful Neutral? Lawful Good? True Neutral?
"I am sure it's somewhere there."
Goals
Lupin comes from a-- decently wealthy-- family with a handful generations of Enkindled. It is customary for the child's family to attempt to induce an Ignition in their next of kin in order to continue the tradition. That is how his father got his talent, and how his father before that did, and so on.
Lupin never Ignited.
It is no secret that it is questioned if it is even possible to induce Ignitions without any means of suffering. The trials Lupin underwent, and his status as a black sheep have left him with a rather bitter view of his family, and the concept of the arcane as a whole.
Magic inspires Lupin as much as it sours him. It is a source of endless possibilities, creatively marvelous for a mind as active as his. It is perhaps this what led him to pursue his wealth of knowledge and abundance of tinkering.
"If I could only bend the arcane to my will, study it, make it mundane. Wouldn't that be wonderful?"
"I must prove that this world is a place worth improving."
