Branch: Life Level/Cost: Initiate, 1 Effect: Boon Range: 5 blocks Casting Time: 1 turn Duration: 6 rounds Description: The Enkindled creates a bond between themselves and a natural creature within range, such as a natural player-character, plant, or an animal. They are able to communicate with this creature as if they both spoke the same language, though this does not cease hostilities between the caster and such a creature on its own. Some creatures of more aberrant or mythical variety may require a [General+Arcana] check to properly communicate with. Additionally, whenever this spell’s target receives a wound, the caster can split its severity between them. This appears as though the caster becomes somewhat more pale and sickly, as the wound partially mends. For example: A Major Wound for the target becomes a Moderate Wound for the caster and the target. Minor Wounds are unaffected by this spell. This spell can only exist as one instance at a time. |
