Hello Sonder!

This event's purpose is to deliver the community goal reached for a new race!

That's not all! A bunch of new content is on the way, ready to be introduced at varying stages of the event, that will stick around and add new things to the playing field all around. For things to run as smoothly and timely as possible-( since there has already been a long wait )-please read through the below and refer back to this post if you need to. As always, if you have more questions or need further clarification, feel free to make an Event Support ticket in the discord!​

If any changes are made to these points and rules, we will ping in the discord server and update this post accordingly.

Main Points of Importance
​
The main portion of this event line WILL RP LOCK characters into an alternate realm.
  • Players who volunteer themselves for the RP LOCK portions will be warned ahead of time, but once that portion has begun there is no going back until the storyline has progressed.
    • Players cannot send mail while in the alternate realm.

This event line is considered violent. All events carried out as a part of this event line can carry a serious risk of character death.
  • Characters can, and will, die during this event line.
    • Dying in the alternate realm can cause a racial change upon revival.
    • Due to the nature of this point being spoiler territory, at this time this is all the information we can provide.

Systems profiles that are not updated to the current standard will not be usable.
  • All system profiles that have incorrect or outdated information listed will not be accepted by DMs.
  • Any spells, bonuses, etc. must be approved by systems and listed clearly.

Streaming event locations in private or public chats is strictly not allowed.
  • Anyone caught doing so will be punished via the meta-gaming rules and removed from participating in the event line.

Even if you do not sign up for or choose to directly participate in this event line, your character will still experience the effects from it.
  • Global Emotes will drop throughout the event line.
    • Due to the nature of this point being spoiler territory, at this time this is all the information we can provide.

Side Notes​

The event line will have a set schedule, and a set run time for events. If you cannot make one portion of the event, there will be more opportunities, it will not be paused for any one person.
  • This event line is for everyone to enjoy, scheduling conflicts can happen but the schedule will be released ahead of time so that players can be aware and plan accordingly.
  • Smaller, more inconsequential events can be run at leisure, the point above is for major progression points. Smaller event groups that experience scheduling conflicts may end up being cancelled if too much time has passed since the request.

Events may not always yield loot.
  • Players are always welcome to investigate and explore. Sometimes the only reward is the IC experience of the event and other times characters may be injured or set back for making the wrong call.
    • Loot is not first come first serve.
    • Event loot will be handed out to whomever is leading the event party for it to be divided amongst them or will be done via contribution and selection, this is up to DM discretion and the nature of the event portion.

EVENT SIGN UP

NOTE: This sign up is for a portion of the event that will RP LOCK your character for the duration of the opening act. There will be NPCs, and other players for you to interact with. Please remember this portion is HIGH RISK, but with high risk comes high reward.

The Sign-Up itself​
  • 5 to 6 players will be selected from sign ups via RNG.​
    • If you are selected via RNG you'll be pulled into an Event Ticket in the Sonder discord.​

PS; My character doesn't have any combat skills due to being a Cowardly Pacifist and likely will be of no use in combat scenarios, idk if that's wanted for this! It's like a personal drawback of no fighting lol; but I'm throwing my hat in the ring anyways.
