Personality
Rue is outwardly very cheerful and friendly. They are easygoing and get along with most types of people. They are always happy to meet new people, and they are usually chipper and upbeat. Rue is also very empathetic and quick to offer a shoulder to cry on for those in need. They can be a bit too trusting at times though, and they tend to give second chances to everyone they meet even if it's not in their best self-interest.
They have a strong sense of justice, and they do their best to stick to their beliefs whenever possible. Rue believes in honesty and doing what is right even when it is difficult. They are loyal to their friends and look out for the people around them.
Despite their best efforts to stay optimistic in front of others, Rue is very insecure. They constantly doubt their own abilities and have internalized the idea that they are unintelligent. They tend to get stressed out easily and lack confidence in most areas of their life. Rue is also extremely lonely, and this can cause them to obsess over what others think of them. They are not very in touch with their own emotions and often put their own wants and needs aside for the sake of the people around them.

Goals
After many recent changes in their life, Rue is looking to find new people to surround themselves with. They don't have many friends, but there's no time like the present to make them!
Along with that, Rue hopes to find something they are passionate about to do with their life. They don't want to be a tailor forever. They feel a lot of pressure to avoid wasting what little time they have in their life. Working a mediocre job and spending the rest of their days alone isn't truly living in their eyes.
