Backstory:
Smilebone, a mysterious being whose history had been lost through the ages. Once innocent, born into a family of two bloodied elves—considered bastards, yet admired for their endless knowledge—both Enklinded, with a child (Smilebone) of weak composure, but never did they falter in showing their love to their child. Alas, tragedy struck. For at times, mages and witches alike were seen in a poor light. So, blades rose—crusaders marched—and the family of the tragic Jester was soon found. Screams, blood, and death.The young soon-to-be Jester beheld all of it at a young age, and thanks to their parents’ sacrifice, Smilebone ran. Years passed, with solitude gnawing at their sanity. Their mind twisted, as pain and desperation took their toll. The mysterious being then found something amidst the ruins where they rested—a mask. Reaching for it, the mask was worn, and for a moment, the world was shadowed. Smilebone could see no more of the world’s pain, laughing it off. Tears descended, and finally, the act of pain reached its peak.
The creature's mind opened. They felt a flame within, one that only deepened their sorrow—but now, their mind was open to the four winds. Endless knowledge—they found a connection, and soon would begin to learn. To teach. To create. A Jester was born, one whose promise and oath were to prevent death from claiming those they loved. No more shall it take the innocent.
Heads up: I for sure did a lot of mistakes in this application. Please, help me out. I promise once I get used to it, I won't mess as much.
