⫸ Transcribing - Eloise, although not a poet, is certainly a wordsmith in her own right. Organizing and taking note of important events over time is a part of her work she takes seriously- documenting her surroundings, ongoings, or anything at all that seems pertinent. Need someone to document a court case? Call her in!
⫸ Research - Being good at research is certainly a broad-sweeping category, but it's something she excels in nonetheless. If you need someone to gather information or ask to overlook your own information-gathering process? She's your girl. She'll even be a workhorse for your own research projects, if you like.
⫸ Perception –Eloise is extremely detail-oriented- perhaps even to a concerning degree of obsession. It sometimes makes her difficult to work with, but nothing goes unnoticed around her. She's always taking care to stay keyed in on her surroundings, and the same goes for social interactions.

Personality
Eloise, at face value, is an amicable and intelligent young lady. All who see or know her will first be met with the bubbly demeanor of an aspiring intellect- youthful and optimistic in all of her ventures. Her work is her passion, and her life is filled with dedication to little else. Any conversation you strike up with her about her studies is sure to be long-winded one, her words and intonation babbling along like an unending brook of excitability.
Most, if not all of her pursuits are ones done of pure heart- and if not, trust that the decision was made with great trepidation. She takes great care to try and wrap every corner of her job in ethical pursuit, and that same fact applies to her personal life. She has good values and a pure heart. This does, however, lend itself to being a double-edged sword; her trust falls easily into the hands of others, even those deceitful ones. Her heartstrings are a surefire way to tug and bend her will.
Seeing as she has only just begun on her path, the future is a murky thing to her. Wrong steps are bound to be made, and hard decisions are sure to be followed through. Her dedication to her work means that she is likely willing, at times, to do whatever it takes (within reason) to reach a conclusion. At worst, Eloise is suffocatingly obsessive and pedantic. Previous research partners have reported working with her to be a struggle. Those who do not possess leadership qualities, however, would fall in well with her, as those who tend to take control will certainly clash with her.
Religious Values
"..Religion!!! A fascinating topic! And one that goes hand-in-hand with my line of work."
The lady before you grins good-naturedly as this question is sprung, leaning forward to cradle her chin in both hands. A twinkle arises in her eye.
"Each one has their own place within society- I mean- entire cultures are built around religion! Empires, faith, hope.." She pauses briefly, lips pursing. Her gusto seems to snag on something hidden- the light in her eyes dying just slightly enough for it to fizzle and then rekindle tenfolds all within a brief second. "..I cannot speak on my opinions of any specific religion, I'm afraid! I study them all to understand. Religion plays an important role in every society- and it's important I recognize that without any kind of bias that poses a hazard of impedement on the clarity of my work!" Her smile is back- so quickly, so instantly.
"I am just the translator, afterall! To muddy culture with my own opinions would make me a poor anthropologist indeed!" She chuckles, her answer painfully indifferent.
Alignment
"..Well!! This is just an odd question to ask me to answer, isn't it? Is that not up to others to decide?" She poses the question sincerely, brow raised slightly despite the cheery chime in her voice. She leans back, brow furrowing thoughtfully as she takes a moment to mull over an actual response.
"..I'd consider myself to be a good person! That doesn't seem conceited, does it?" She cocks her head a bit. "..Regardless! I'd like to think my character a courteous one- I take great care in cultivating a positive outlook on things, so.. Really, I shouldn't discredit myself." She chuckles, perhaps a bit sheepishly at such admittance.
Likely Chaotic Good- or Lawful Good. It's clear in the manner she holds herself, the way she speaks with conviction- she truly does care. And she wants others to see that as well.
Goals
To better understand the world around her, and to document what came before. She is especially determined to uncover more of the Collapse, and to preserve what was lost.
Subtly ambitious, a secondary dream of hers is to be placed at the head of some large project- to have control and access to a large well of knowledge. She wants to do anything she can to maximize her research.
